Write
& Wrong:
As far as critiques go, this is in essence a writer's showdown.
We've just begun this feature, but it looks as if it will
be a helpful vehicle for writers to get feedback on their
craft. This section came about as a direct result of "Creator
Carnage". Basically, the writer's saying, "Hey,
us too!"
An assignment is picked,
and a group of writers (anyone interested in having such suffering
inflicted upon them) all submit their entries fulfilling the
assignment. How good are you? Was your script convincing?
Creative? Original?
Come the deadline day,
these disturbing answers and more to be hurled at you with
abandon!

The
Shredder :
The idea for the Shredder came about during a lively discussion
on a messageboard forum. What if there was a forum where someone
can put their work up, and everyone in the community could
come by and tell what bits delight them, or mind-numbingly...
what parts they thought... quite frankly... STUNK.
The results have been
pretty interesting, but ultimately, there hasn't been much
time to keep this feature up. In an effort to have the feature
serve its purpose more properly, we're still redesigning it
so that people will simply post their pictures themselves,
and have people comment on it. Until then, the Shredder is
on temporary hiatus. Please stay tuned.
In the meantime, read
through past Shredders, or if you really need someone to give
their opinion on your work, post to the Art forum
in the messageboard area.

Creator
Carnage :
Much like the Shredder, the idea for Creator Carnage came
about on the during a "lively" discusson on a messageboard
forum. One artist challenged another to a contest, and specifying
the terms (same script, best interpretation), requested that
the contest be hosted in a format similar to the Shredder.
Another artist joined the fray, and pretty soon, a full-fledged
art melee was in progress. Who's version of the proposed script
was best? Who's was worst? Why, and did they all fall short?
The subsequent Carnages
all explored different types of scripts, characters, and circumstances
in an effort to give each participating artist a venue for
practice. Want to enter the next Creator Carnage? Stay tuned,
and just jump in!
