Config 2024: Designing a better conference

Mark your calendars! We’re heading back to San Francisco for Config 2024–bigger and better than ever.
As we dive into planning for our sixth Config, I find myself reflecting on our first conference in February 2020. Bringing together 1,000 Figma users for the first time was a remarkable moment—one that cemented our belief in the power of community. So much has changed since then. Figma has expanded, Config has matured, our community has grown, and so have all of you.
Yet, our focus remains constant: to foster a space that is by the community, for the community. Config is more than just a conference—it’s a gathering of ideas, a space for learning, and a celebration of craft for anyone who builds products. We learned a lot from our first big IRL version of Config since the pandemic, and are using those learnings to design Config 2024.
Join us June 26th and 27th in San Francisco to connect with other builders and leaders, learn through hands-on workshops, hear about our latest releases, and have a great time. We’re still fine-tuning our lineup, but you can expect over 75 speakers diving into topics like design systems, AI, development, and more. (And swag—of course—we’ll have swag.)
What to look forward to at Config 2024
Register for a breakout talk, guarantee your spot

Moscone Center, San Francisco, CA.
Based on your feedback, we’re introducing a reservation system for breakout talks. Register for a session, show up on time, and you’ll get a seat. As an added bonus, if you register as part of the very early bird ticket available now (the earliest bird, if you will), you’ll get a chance to register for talks 24 hours before anyone else.
Programming for developers
In our commitment to serving all who build products, we are curating more content specifically for developers. Stay tuned for upcoming programming announcements, but we’re excited to continue building out this track.
More opportunities for connection
We heard you. We’re building more down time into the schedule so you can mingle, network, or just hang with your community. We’ve also expanded our footprint—this means shorter lines, more space, and an overall smoother attendee experience.
Embracing our global community
Config 2024 is a celebration of our global community. To expand who can participate, we’re offering captioning in English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish for our virtual attendees and simultaneous interpretation and translation for those who attend in person. And this is just the start—we plan to add as many languages as we can to our events.
Leadership collective 2.0
Following the positive feedback from last year, we’re expanding our executive track. Expect more content, a new executive briefing center, and plenty of networking opportunities. You can apply for this invite-only track as part of your registration.
Grab your very early bird tickets while supplies last. Scholarships are also available for those who qualify. Have any ideas or suggestions? We’re all ears! Tweet us or reach out to events@figma.com
to let us know what you’d like to see or who you’d like to hear from this year.

Interested in speaking or leading a session? Our Config 2024 Call for Speakers is now open. Apply to speak by December 31, 2023.
On a personal note
Every year when we come together to begin planning for Config, I remember the energy, excitement, and sense of community of our past conferences. It’s a humbling experience, one that renews my passion for what I do. It’s not just about creating an event; it’s about creating a place to celebrate our collective progress, connect on a personal level, share our successes and stumbling blocks, and learn from each other.
Every year, I’m amazed by the stories and ideas our community brings to Config. As we head toward 2024, I’m excited and grateful for the opportunity to learn from you, to be inspired by you, and to work together to create an unforgettable experience.
