Introducing Figma Mirror for Android

Android users and designers, we’ve neglected you for too long. Today we’re happy to announce that Figma’s Mirror app has come to Android. If you want to test what your designs look like in action, you can mirror them in real-time on Android devices.

For those unfamiliar with our Mirror app, which is already available for iOS, it reflects your Figma designs so you can see how they appear on mobile. As you select a frame in a Figma file on your computer, whatever you see on your screen shows up in the mobile app. If you adjust the design on your computer, the changes immediately reflect in the mobile mirror.

We also offer a browser view for mirroring on your mobile device. If you don’t want to download the app, go to figma.com/mobile-app in your mobile browser for the same functionality.

Android phones make up 52 percent of the smartphone population in the US (and 82 percent in the world!). If you’re designing for Android, a handy tip: Figma includes preset frame sizes for a handful of popular Android devices, so you don’t have to start from scratch.
