How Insider One Customers Convert Designs into Campaigns Instantly with Figma MCP

Marketing and customer engagement teams are under pressure to move faster—launching campaigns across channels while keeping every touchpoint on-brand. For Istanbul-based Insider One, a customer engagement platform trusted by 2,000+ enterprise brands, that meant rethinking how campaigns are created.

Traditionally, teams relied on templates and manual editing inside Insider One’s visual editor. However, as customer expectations grew, so did the need for flexibility and speed. By integrating with Figma’s MCP server, Insider One is enabling a new workflow: turning Figma design files into fully functional campaigns in an instant—powered by AI, and built for scale.

Challenge: Balancing speed with brand consistency

Insider One’s platform is designed to help marketing and customer engagement teams create and deliver personalized experiences—RCS, emails, push notifications, gamification–and more. At the heart of this workflow is a visual editor that allows teams to design and launch campaigns without writing code.

While powerful, this approach came with trade-offs. Most customers started with pre-built templates—seasonal campaigns like Black Friday, or New Year promotions—and adapted them to fit their brand. This worked well for speed, but it introduced limitations. Templates constrained creativity, and adapting them to match brand guidelines often required manual effort. For teams with strong design systems, recreating designs inside the visual editor could feel like duplication of work.

At the same time, collaboration between design and marketing teams wasn’t always seamless. Designers worked in tools like Figma, while marketers executed campaigns in Insider One. Bridging that gap meant translating static designs into live experiences—often manually.

“Our customers were constantly balancing speed with quality. Templates helped them move quickly, but often at the cost of creativity and brand precision. We knew there had to be a better way to give teams both flexibility and control without adding more manual work,” says Gülizar Sarı, Sr. Product Manager.

As campaign velocity increased, Insider One saw an opportunity: help their customers move faster, and design freely, without compromising on brand quality or design fidelity.

Solution: Connecting Figma designs to campaigns with MCP

To solve this, Insider One integrated with Figma’s MCP server into their brand-new Design Agent—a way for AI systems to understand and act on structured design data.

Instead of relying on templates, customers can now bring their own designs directly into Insider One using a Figma link.

“Design Agent really speeds up the way we create pop-ups,” says Thu Đỗ, spokesperson for Insider One customer FSCHOOL. “The AI comes up with creative ideas that look great and actually make sense. It's also very easy to use, so even new users can get started without any friction. On top of that, it can generate subtle animations and effects that feel truly on-brand - which saves our PSL for more advanced use cases with rule customization, instead of design customization only.”

With MCP, Insider One’s platform can interpret Figma files beyond just visuals. It understands the structure of a design—identifying elements like text, images, buttons, and layouts. This structured understanding allows AI to do something fundamentally new: transform designs into functional campaigns automatically.

Design Agent is an AI-powered feature in Insider One that allows marketing teams to create and customize campaign templates instantly.

Under the hood, this workflow translates Figma designs into structured, machine-readable data. When a user provides a Figma link, Insider One uses Figma’s MCP server to extract a detailed representation of the file—capturing the hierarchy of elements, shared styles, and layout properties. This includes everything from typography and colours to spacing and positioning, all mapped as structured data rather than pixels.

That data is then enriched server-side, where layout and styling information are converted into CSS. At the same time, image assets are resolved through Figma’s APIs, ensuring that everything from embedded images to complex vector graphics is accurately retrieved. The AI operates in a controlled sequence—first gathering all design data, then generating output—so nothing is left to guesswork.

The result is production-ready HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that maps directly back to the original Figma file. Every detail is preserved, from exact pixel values to verbatim text, ensuring complete visual fidelity. Designs are not approximated or recreated—they are translated.

Teams can now bring campaigns from Figma into production instantly, turning existing design systems into launch-ready marketing assets without rebuilding from scratch.

For marketers, this changes the starting point. Instead of beginning with a template, they start with their own design system. A campaign designed in Figma can be imported, adapted, and launched without needing to rebuild it manually in the visual editor.

“By connecting Figma’s MCP server directly into our workflow, we’re no longer asking teams to recreate what already exists. Figma becomes the starting point, and our platform turns those designs into fully functional campaigns instantly—preserving every detail while removing the friction,” says Gülizar.

AI plays a key role in this workflow. Once a design is connected, teams can:

  • Generate campaign variations (e.g. seasonal versions or A/B tests)
  • Adapt messaging while preserving layout and structure
  • Quickly localise or personalise content at scale

The visual editor still plays a role—but it becomes a place for refinement, not recreation.

This integration effectively connects three layers:

  • Design (Figma): where brand and layout are defined
  • AI (via MCP): which understands and transforms the design
  • Execution (Insider One): where campaigns are launched and optimised

The result is a more seamless workflow between design and marketing—powered by shared context.

Outcome: Faster campaign creation, with designs that stay on-brand

By integrating Figma’s MCP server, Insider One has shifted from a template-driven model to a design-driven one. For customers, the impact is immediate.

Campaign creation is significantly faster. Instead of rebuilding designs from scratch or adapting templates, teams can start from production-ready assets. This reduces manual work and shortens the time from idea to launch.

“Figma’s MCP server has fundamentally changed how quickly our customers can go from idea to execution. What used to take hours of rebuilding can now happen in minutes, with campaigns that are immediately aligned to their original design intent,” says Christopher Baldwin, VP Marketing.

At the same time, brand consistency improves. Because campaigns are based on original Figma designs, they more accurately reflect each company’s visual identity. There’s less risk of inconsistencies introduced through manual editing or template constraints.

The integration also improves collaboration. Designers and marketers are no longer working in parallel tools with disconnected workflows. Figma becomes a shared source of truth, and InsiderOne becomes the execution layer—bridged by AI.

Perhaps most importantly, it unlocks new possibilities for scale. With AI understanding the structure of designs, teams can generate and iterate on campaigns more easily—testing variations, localising content, and personalising experiences without starting from scratch each time.

What was once a manual, template-based process becomes a flexible, intelligent system—one that adapts to each brand, rather than forcing brands to adapt to it.

“This is about more than just speed—it’s about unlocking the full value of design. With Figma’s MCP server, we’re enabling a workflow where design, AI, and execution are fully connected, so teams can scale high-quality, on-brand experiences without compromise,” says Christopher.

By bringing Figma and Insider One closer together through MCP, Insider One is redefining how campaigns are created—helping teams move faster, stay on-brand, and unlock the full value of their designs.
