Getting your design work done at scale requires a product and system you can trust—no matter where your team is located around the world. At Figma, we are committed to delivering the best products and meeting the highest trust standards for our global community.
That means not only building features that will make the Figma experience more seamless for international users and investing in our global presence, but also establishing a deep commitment to keeping your design IP safe and compliant in multiple regions. It’s one of the reasons we’re open and honest about our security practices and track record.
We aim to go above and beyond to meet security and compliance requirements around the world and are excited to announce that we’ve become one of only 17 companies to gain a compliance mark from the EU Cloud Code of Conduct, the European gold standard for data protection in the cloud sector.
The EU Cloud Code of Conduct compliance mark gives Figma users peace of mind that their design work is being handled securely and that Figma has built processes designed to operate in a compliant way, in accordance with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). More than meeting the baseline obligations of GDPR, Figma has demonstrated privacy and security policies that have been validated by SCOPE Europe—the accredited monitoring body for the Code.
What does that mean for you? If you’re designing in Figma, you can trust that your data is being handled in accordance with market leading security standards. And it means that whether you’re already headquartered in Europe or looking to expand internationally, Figma is ready for you!
