For years, India’s design and developer community has pushed the boundaries of what’s possible in Figma. Now, with our new hub in Bengaluru, we are excited to meet these builders where they are—and learn firsthand how they’re reimagining what’s next and shaping the future of product development in India.

Key insights from our India research:

• 93% of designers say their companies already use AI in design.

• 85% of designers agree that AI simplifies writing code.

• 81% of developers say design has become more important to the success of AI-powered products.

More than 7,000 people registered for the launch event, joining us to celebrate the Bengaluru office opening on November 12, 2025 and learn more about our plans for India. As part of this event, we shared the latest in AI design tools and new research into how AI is changing the way people are designing and building in India.1

“Today India is our second-largest market by monthly active users. As it evolves into a global software and manufacturing hub, the value of design will only grow,” says Scott Pugh, APAC Vice President of Sales at Figma. “We’ve seen increasing demand for modern design tools from Indian companies, and with the office opening, we want to get closer to our users and the community here.”

From startups to some of the country’s biggest brands—like Airtel, CARS24, Flipkart, Groww, Juspay, Myntra, Swiggy, TCS and Zomato—teams are using Figma to design, build, and launch faster than ever.

“Design is at the heart of everything we do—and Figma has become an integral part of how we bring that vision to life,” says Mr. Lakshminarayan Swaminathan, Vice President of Product Management and Design at Myntra, one of India’s largest online retailers. “It unites our teams around a shared creative vision, accelerates idea-to-product, and keeps us at the forefront of evolving digital experiences, especially with AI… we look forward to deepening our partnership in shaping the future of design.”
