Figma’s journey to Japan
Today we’re launching a fully localized product interface, website, and in-region support for our Japanese users. ~80% of our users are based outside of the U.S.—connecting with a global design community has always been central to our vision of making design accessible to all. As we continue expanding into new markets, we believe that improving Figma and FigJam for global teams will make for a better overall experience—especially for our Japanese users.

Our investment in Japan
The number of Figma users in Japan doubled from 2020 to 2021. To support this growth, we’ve hired local leadership, opened an office in Japan, and will be hosting events for our Japanese users. We’re excited to continue the momentum—stay tuned for more!
